October 22, 2022
The Isle of Hope Art and Music Festival returns Saturday, October 22, 2022! The festival will feature talented local artists and musicians. Holley Jaakkola and Erica Wilson are co-hosting the event this year with support from a talented team of local volunteers and the Isle of Hope Historical Association.
The festival is free for all ages and will feature IOH favorites and new vendors. Artists will be located at the Isle of Hope Marina Pavilion, Paxton Park, Rose Avenue, and Bluff Drive from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Music Festival will be from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the IOH Marina. An incredible lineup of musicians will be announced soon. Local food trucks will provide great food and treats. The Isle of Hope Marina will sell beer, wine, soda, and water.
Ruthie and Noel Wright, with The Isle of Hope Artisans League, started The Isle of Hope Art Show in 2000. Residents and artists joined together for the first show, which took place in front of Noel and Ruthie Wright’s house on Bluff Drive. Eventually, it expanded to the Isle of Hope Marina and Pavilion. In 2011, the Art Show added a parade, museum, and Music Festival to celebrate the 275th anniversary of Isle of Hope. The residents loved the Music Festival, so organizers kept it going, and it became known as the Isle of Hope Art and Music Festival.
The Isle of Hope Historical Association presents the festival now. Corporate and individual sponsorships fund the event. If you would like to be a sponsor, artist, vendor, or volunteer, please contact us at iohartmusicfest.com.
