

Butter Bean Beach is located off of Diamond Causeway/HWY 204 to your right as you’re headed towards Skidaway Island. Here you’ll find a public boat ramp, a bait shop (Bandy’s Bait & Tackle), a public beach, and picnic tables. During the week food trucks are set up normally between 11:00 and 8:00. Parking is free. While the beach is open year-round, visitors should note that there are no lifeguards on duty.
Butter Bean is known for its boat ramp (Rodney J. Hall Boat Ramp) and easy access to Skidaway Narrows. From here you can head towards Isle of Hope or the South end of Wassaw.

Via Truman Parkway: From the Truman Parkway head south, towards The Landings. After you pass the Kroger on your right, Whitfield becomes Diamond Causeway after crossing Ferguson Avenue. Follow Diamond Causeway towards Skidaway Island and ButterBean Beach and the Rodney J. Hall Boat Ramp will be on your right before you go over the bridge.
