Ring in the New Year with a “Wild Night on Ossabaw.”
Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00pm –Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 12:00pm.
Experience an on-island overnight educational journey. Arrive on Ossabaw Island on New Year’s Eve afternoon. After checking into your quarters , island host/guide Elizabeth DuBose (Ossabaw Island Foundation Executive Director) will lead an optional 45-minute interpretive walking tour on the island’s North End. For those who prefer, the afternoon may be spent relaxing at the Club House or exploring the island’s North End on their own.
Enjoy an Ossabaw New Year’s Eve Dinner by Lesley Varnadore, featuring a full array of Southern side dishes. Following dinner, enjoy music, s’mores and stories of Ossabaw Island around a nighttime campfire, plus a champagne toast to ring in the New Year. After a hearty farm-to-table breakfast, you’ll return to the mainland late morning on New Year’s Day.
Fees include round trip transportation from Delegal Marina on Skidaway Island to Ossabaw Island’s North End; meals, and champagne toast at midnight (or before), shared accommodations on Ossabaw Island, plus programming.. Pillow, sheets & towels, and blanket provided. Campers: Bring your own tent/sleeping bag/pillow/towels etc.
This trip is designed for adults and for children age 12 and over. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult.

COVID-19: Please do not come on this trip if: you have symptoms of COVID-19, you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or if you know you have been exposed to someone with COVID in the last 48 hours.
Boarding House FAQs The Boarding House is located on Ossabaw Island’s north end and is a restored 1918 Craftsman bungalow. The Boarding House offers comfortable semi-private accommodations. Accommodations are in semi-private rooms with shared bathrooms. Single room (no roommate) available for additional fee.
Camp on Ossabaw in your own tent near the Boarding House & Club House, with full access to rest rooms/showers.
Club House FAQs The shared accommodations in the dormitory-style Club House on Ossabaw Island. Pillow, sheets & towels, and blanket provided.
