This years eclectic line up includes country music by Lyn Avenue and Damon & the Shitkickers; R&B and Soul from Stan Ray and you never know what sort of music you’ll get with the mega talented, genre bending Andrew Sovine.

BAND BIOS

Lyn Avenue

Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Lyn Avenue is a Country/Americana act bringing you catchy, compelling stories with genuine southern charm. Comprised of husband-and-wife duo, CC Witt and Patrick Ellington, their writing style is rooted in sharp lyricism and memorable melodies, organically blending elements of Americana, Folk and Classic Country. Driven by rich vocals, electrifying leads, and boot-stomping rhythms, there is always a story to be told with Lyn Avenue and you can guarantee that you’ll be wanting to sing along.

Andrew Sovine

Andrew Sovine is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and composer originally from Nashville.

His work (most notably with Ashley McBryde) has garnered multiple Grammy nominations. In addition to his touring and recording work he also owns and operates The Back Room Record Studio in Savannah, GA.

Damon and the Shitkickers

Damon and the Shitkickers carry on the outlaw country traditions established by the likes of Hank, Waylon, Willie, Johnny and Merle. Founded in 2008 shortly after Damon arrived In Georgia from the Montana Hi-Line, the band has played every beer joint and festival stage that would have them. They continue to spread the joy of authentic country music to eager audiences throughout the land.

Stan Ray

Hey y’all, Stan Ray here in Savannah, GA. I’ve been a musician in the Low Country for over 20 years since moving here from KY in 2001.

Many folks know me from the songwriter showcases I used to have at my business Savannah Wine Shop 2001-2008 on Broughton Street in the Historic District. Others first saw me at one of our Savannah Songwriters Series showcases I helped create with Jefferson and Tami Ross back in 2011.

Most folks here remember me as the singing drummer in The Accomplices, a Low Country String Band that put out 3 CDs records and toured the country through the 2010s. These days you can see me playing solo acoustic gigs mostly on Hilton Head and Tybee Island, or performing with local bands such as Chameleon Brotherhood, American Holigram, The Ben Keiser Band or my newest project Stan Ray’s Soul Satisfaction debuting July 7th at Victory North as part of the Homegrown Summer Jam. My influences range from Otis Redding to Johnny Cash so there’s a lot there for everyone! Hope you can join me for some rhyme time sometime soon!
